Early College School at Delaware State University is a dual-enrollment program that provides opportunities for students to earn state of Delaware high school requirements, and up to 60 college credits from Delaware State University once they reach they reach the high school years. We would love for you to be a part of the ECS family.

At this time ECS is accepting applications for first-time 7th, 8th and 9th grade students, and we will review 10th grade applications if spaces become available.  Because of programming, no Juniors or Seniors will be accepted.

Early College School at Delaware State University is a dual-enrollment program that provides opportunities for students to earn State of Delaware high school requirements, and up to 60 college credits from Delaware State University.

Please be aware that by submitting an application to Early College School at DSU, you agree to the following:

• My student will be entering the 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grade for the first time.
• I understand that my student must be promoted to grade 7, 8, 9 or 10 by July 30th, 2025. Any student not promoted by this date will lose his/her seat in the program.
• Applying parents/guardians MUST have a valid email address.
• Transportation is provided at Hub Stops throughout New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties. Students within a 2 mile radius of school will not be provided busing.
• We will be having Open House Dates available for you to come in and learn about our school. The following dates are available:

November 13, 2024 @ 5:00 pm (1200 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, Price Hall)

December 4, 2024 @ 5:00 pm (1570 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover)

January 15, 2025 @ 5:00 pm (1200 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, Price Hall)

• I understand that my student and a parent/guardian is required to attend a mandatory Hornet Hello Program prior to acceptance of our invitation. You must attend one of the following scheduled dates: 

  January 28, 2025 @ 5:00 pm (1570 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover)

  February 12, 2025 @ 5:00 pm (1200 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, Price Hall)

  February 26, 2025 @ 5:00 pm (1570 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover)

  March 12, 2025 @ 5:00 pm (1200 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, Price Hall)
